The Iron are back on the road to face Curzon Ashton who sit in second place just three points behind the Iron, who are looking to build on their strong start to the season, five wins in six and still unbeaten.
Last time out, Butler's side arguably got their most impressive win so far in an early top of the table clash, United faced Kidderminster who were second just one point behind them and won 2-0 as Alfie Beestin and Kian Scales got on the scoresheet.
Last season, Curzon were the only side to take all six points from the Iron. Curzon won 1-0 in both fixtures as Craig Mahon got the goal in August when Curzon hosted Scunthorpe, and Jimmy Spencer scored the only goal of the game at the Attis Arena to give the Nash all three points on the day. Curzon have started the season strongly with four wins and one draw after six games and pose a strong threat.
Our opponents have an array of goalscorers, the only player to have scored two goals after the opening six games which has seen Curzon score seven goals is James Spencer, a man the Iron know all about after last season. With no side yet to be victorious at Tameside stadium, it will be a huge challenge for the Iron to continue their winning streak away from home for this game.
Isaac Sinclair has had a strong start to the season for the hosts, the 23 year old midfielder, netted the winner against Oxford City and got man of the match, and then claiming the award again in the 0-0 draw against Darlington. The Iron will have their work cut out to keep out the number 7 in red hot form.
As United look to get all three points again away from home and stay unbeaten in the league campaign, they are going into this clash in good form with a lot of momentum after the win over Kidderminster.
