MATCHBALL SPONSORS
There’s a big celebration at the Attis Arena today, as we welcome Jim and Margaret, celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary with us.
The pair have enjoyed a long and devoted life together, and we are thrilled they’ve chosen to celebrate their special milestone with us. Margaret was born in Scunthorpe in 1938, her Dad was a Teemer on the Steelworker, and Jim in Grimsby in 1936, his Dad was a Trawler Fisherman and his family moved to Scunthorpe during World War II.
Both, with their respective families have been supporting Scunthorpe United at both the Old Show Ground and Glanford Park, since after the finish of World War II, almost a total of 160 years very soon. Jim was also a season ticket holder of the 1500 Club at the Old Show Ground, and on his retirement in 1996 both have had season tickets almost since and enjoyed regular visits to the Iron’s Restaurant for many years.

PROGRAMME SPONSORS
We welcome a number of our volunteers to our hospitality offering this afternoon, paying tribute to so many people who have given their time to the club over the summer.
From painting to jet washing, signage making and general decorating around the stadium, the Attis Arena looks as impressive, if not more so, than when it was first built and opened in 1988 - and that pays true homage to those who have given so much time to make our home look so presentable. It’s a place the staff are proud to come and work day-in, day-out, and it’s a venue that we want supporters to do the same.
A big thank you to all our sponsors for our latest fixture. If you want to learn more, or to fill one of our gaps for the season, either as a work treat, a business meeting, a family celebration or anything else, please get in touch with us to bespoke a package just for you!
