Manager Jimmy Dean revealed midfielder Tom Pugh has suffered with a hamstring problem throughout the week, missing both Thursday and Friday training sessions, however Dean remains hopeful that Pugh will be available for Saturday.

Alfie Beestin (hamstring) and Marcus Carver (groin) remain out through their respective injuries.

Notts County are one of two sides who have set an unprecedented standard at the top of the Vanarama National League this season.

The East Midlands-based side currently sit second behind Wrexham, with Luke Williams’s side registering 27 wins from 39 games so far this season, racking up 91 points with seven games left to play.

After firing Gateshead to a National League North title winning season last campaign with 28 goals in 39 league appearances, Macaulay Langstaff has continued to raise his own standard in the league above with 36 goals in 38 appearances for County.

Whilst Langstaff chases the golden boot, former Iron shot-stopper Sam Slocombe is looking to claim the golden glove with 13 clean sheets in 35 games.

Only Eastleigh’s Joe McDonnell can boast a higher amount of clean sheets, shutting out the opposition 15 times with 39 played.

As part of Notts’ Community Day celebrations, Scunthorpe-supporting families are invited to a Family Fun Zone at Nottingham Padel Centre, accessed off Iremonger Road close to the junction with Cattle Market Road – a short walk from the away end.

With the city centre and canal just a short walk away, there are plenty of options regarding pubs once arrived at Nottingham.

Additionally, turnstiles are also open two hours before kick-off for fans wishing to enter the stadium.

Once inside the ground, the Jimmy Sirrel visitors’ holds several concourse catering outlets, offering a range of hot snacks including burgers, pies and vegetarian options as well as alcohol.
