The Iron return to Glanford Park for Friday night football as we host Barnet under the floodlights, in what will be Jimmy Dean's first as manager of the Iron.
On Sunday, Scunthorpe United were delighted to announce our new management team of Jimmy Dean who joined as the club's new First Team Manager, Chris Plummer as Assistant Manager and Michael Nelson who remains with the Iron as Head Coach.

IRON TEAM NEWS
Jimmy Dean’s squad is significantly bolstered with the arrival of six first team players on Thursday, with former Barnet winger Sean Shields unable to make his home debut for the Iron tomorrow.

Marcus Carver (groin) continues to miss out through injury.
THE OPPOSITION
The Bees took all three points away from home mid-week on their travels down to Eastleigh, with Ryan De Havilland and Ben Wynter both netting on Tuesday evening.
The side from London currently sit in 5th position, with Andy Woodman’s side registering 14 wins and 5 draws from 26games this season.
Victory against Eastleigh in the week extended their unbeaten run in the Vanarama National League to nine games.
Barnet have kicked on in the league with their form since a one-all draw at The Hive against the Iron in late November.
Dean Brennan’s side have also carried form well into the Isuzu FA Trophy, lining up a quarter-final tie away at Torquay following victories against Plymouth Parkway and Solihull Moors in respective rounds.

MATCHDAY DETAILS
The ticket office and club shop open from 10am on the day, with the Iron Bar opening at 5.30pm in the evening.
The car park opens at 5pm, where a £1 saving can be made (before 4am on matchday) by purchasing your spot in advance here.
The marquee returns Friday night outside the Iron Bar, and we're delighted to welcome back local musician Mark Donaldson, whose set will start at 6.50pm.
We welcome back familiar vendor Phat Pateez Grill, who will be selling a range of hot-food outside the ground too.
Additionally, turnstiles are also open an hour-and-a-half before kick-off for fans wishing to enter the stadium.
Please also note that physical matchday programme, The Iron, will return for Friday’s home game against Barnet, being available to purchase around the ground and in the club shop on the night.
NATIONAL LEAGUE TV
The game against Barnet will be available to stream both domestically and internationally, with BBC Radio Humberside commentary set to be provided.
