IRON TEAM NEWS
Marcus Carver has returned to the Iron after he was recalled from his loan spell at Southport.
Defender Reagan Ogle will miss this one through an injury after coming off in the previous match, with Daws saying: “It could be any period of time, shorter rather than long term, but it remains to be clarified."
Aiden Marsh (foot fracture), Liam Feeney & Jordan Hallam (hamstrings) continue to miss out through their respective injuries.
THE OPPOSITION
The Red Dragons were victorious at home against Oldham Athletic on Sunday in their Emirates FA Cup First Round match. The side from Wales also registered a 3-1 win against FC Halifax Town last Tuesday, making it 12 wins from 17 National League matches.
Wrexham have spent the last 14 years in the English fifth tier following relegation from League Two in 2008.
Wrexham registered their lowest finish in the National League in the 2019/20 curtailed season, finishing 19th.
In November 2020, Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds and American actor Rob McElhenney purchased the football club in a highly publicised deal.
In the 2021/22 season, Wrexham finished second in what was their best National League finish since joining the league, however the side were knocked out of the play-offs by eventual winners Grimsby Town.
A documentary on the visitors, Welcome to Wrexham, was recently released this summer, which documented the acquisition of the football club and operation of it by current owners Reynolds and McElhenney.

The referee will be Garreth Rhodes, assisted by Daniel Smith and Danny Guest. The fourth official will be Darius Bradley.

The ticket office and club shop open from 10am on the day, with the Iron Bar opening at 5.30pm in the evening.
For away fans, please note that the Iron Bar will be for home supporters only for this game. Away supporters looking to purchase alcohol can do so underneath the AMS Stand in the away end bar.
The car park will open at 5pm, where a £1 saving can be made (before 4pm on this matchday) by purchasing your spot in advance here.
We welcome back familiar vendor Phat Pateez Grill, who will be selling a range of hot-food.
Additionally, turnstiles are also open an hour-and-a-half before kick-off for fans wishing to enter the stadium.
