Wealdstone also held title chasing Wrexham to a 0-0 draw in their previous home game.

Despite curtailment due to COVID-19, Wealdstone were crowned champions of the National League South in the 2019/20 season with 22 wins registered in 33 played.

Wealdstone finished 19th in their first season in the National League, registering five wins in their opening eight games. Another five wins followed for the Stones, with a secondseason of National League football on the horizon.

Their best league finish followed, finishing the 2021/22 season in 16th place after earning 53 points with 14 wins and 11 draws.
