Tom Bramall will be the man in the middle for the Iron's home pre-season encounter against Burton Albion.

The Sheffield-based official is preparing for his fourth campaign as an EFL referee on Tuesday evening, and his first as an Select Group Two referee after being promoted to the elite group, predominantly officiating in the Championship.

He's taken charge of four previous competitive Iron games, most recently back in February 2020 when he oversaw the 2-0 home defeat to Cambridge United. Prior to that, he took charge of the 2-1 home win over Coventry City. He showed two yellow cards in that game.

Meanwhile, he's taken charge of the Brewers on five occasions, with the most recent at the end of last season as they lost 4-0 away at Oxford United. In tota, across the five games, he's issued 10 cautions and no dismissals.

Last season, he took charge of 33 games competitively, showing 78 yellow cards and four reds.

On Tuesday, Bramall will be assisted by Richard Wigglesworth and Rob Atkin, while Harry Atkin has been appointed as the fourth official.
