Scunthorpe United Football Club can confirm The Sands Venue Stadium will remain closed until and including Friday 27 March at the earliest due to the current COVID-19 outbreak.
Our primary concern is for the health and wellbeing of all employees and fans, and the situation will be reviewed by the club’s board of directors on an ongoing basis. Keep visiting our website and social media channels for further information as and when it’s available.
It’s important to make clear that we have not had anybody at the football club test positive for Coronavirus at this moment in time.
Following last week’s initial announcement, the FA confirmed on Thursday, March 19th that games have been postponed at all levels until Thursday, April 30th. If you have bought a ticket for a match during that period, refund details will become available once the fixtures are rearranged.
12th Man packages for next season are available to buy online via www.sufctickets.com at Early Bird rates, while supporters will also be able to shop online 24/7 via www.sufcshop.com.
The club apologises for any inconvenience. Staff will be working remotely from home during business hours so emails will be answered in the normal fashion. Thank you to our fans for bearing with us at this difficult time.
