Since we announced details following the curtailment of the 2019-20 season, Scunthorpe United Football Club would like to thank all supporters who have donated the value of the four cancelled home games from the 2019/20 campaign to the club.
Supporters who are willing and able to do so can continue to pay the published early bird price and donate the value of the four unplayed home games from the 2019/20 season to the club. In recognition of this, the club intends to dedicate an area in the main reception of the stadium to display the names of all supporters, sponsors and others who donate to the club in this or any other way.
We would like to urge supporters to renew for the 2020-21 season as soon as possible to ensure that in the event of games returning behind a reduced capacity crowd, those who have renewed the earliest will get priority access to those games.
The reduced price (which reflects the value of the four cancelled 2019-20 home games) will be held for the duration of the season for renewals. The published early bird price will be held throughout the season for any new season ticket holders to purchase and the same will apply regarding reduced capacity games.

I have already renewed for 2020/21, what options do I have?
Thank you for the renewal of your 2020/21 season tickets. If you are unable to donate the value of the four home games to the club we are offering a voucher which will have an expiry date of 30th June 2022 which means you can use for the 2021/22 season ticket (if purchased before 30.6.22). The voucher can be used in the ticket office, club shop or hospitality areas as an alternative.
What happens to my 2020/21 season ticket if the season is played behind closed doors?
Whilst there is still uncertainty regarding this, it is difficult to confirm absolutely. We are anticipating that home and away games will be accessible online for free to all season ticket holders, although this will ultimately be determined by the opposition club (for away games) and EFL. The length of time of any period behind closed doors will direct what the club offers season ticket holders in place of access to the stadium to watch games. In this situation, the club will also look to compensate supporters with other offerings.
Will games behind closed doors be available to watch?
We hope to be able to offer this online to season tickets holders as part of their package in the same way Championship games played for the remainder of the 2019/20 season will be available to the season ticket holders of Championship clubs, though this will ultimately be determined by the EFL. Access for other supporters is also expected to be available for home and away games on iFollow as has been possible previously, although we await confirmation from the EFL regarding 3pm Saturday kick-offs and may also be at the discretion of the opposition club if it’s an away game.
When will I need to renew my 2020/21 season ticket by?
As soon as you can! The reduced prices will be held for the duration of the season so there is no deadline, but renewing as soon as possible not only helps the club, it also means that if games are held in front of a reduced capacity crowd you will be more likely to be able to attend the earlier you buy.
What should I do if I want to donate to the club?
Any season ticket holder wanting to donate the value of the remaining home games should contact sufctickets@scunthorpe-united.co.uk. The club would also be extremely grateful to accept other donations, if you would like to know how please email sufcaccounts@scunthorpe-united.co.uk.
I have an executive lounge pass for 2019/20…
An increased offering will be made for the 2020/21 season executive lounge pass holders to reflect the value of the four home games, we have some ideas such as complimentary drinks from the bar and will continue to consider this.
I have an Iron membership for 2019/20…
Due to the pricing of the Iron Membership and the discounts available throughout the season, the full value of the membership, there will be no further reductions on this package.
I have bought a match ticket for a game that was cancelled (Colchester, Exeter and Stevenage away, or Salford, Leyton Orient or Macclesfield at home)…
