Midfielder Alfie Beestin has penned a new one-year contract with the Iron.
The 22-year-old initially signed for United’s Under-23s squad until the end of last season in January, but made four first team appearances from the substitutes’ bench before our League Two campaign was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic.
He signed from Tadcaster Albion but has a decent amount of league experience gathered between 2016 and 2019 at Doncaster Rovers, where he made 50 appearances and scored three times.
