The Iron’s Abo Eisa has been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two goal of the month for December.

His spectacular second half goal in the 2-0 away win at Forest Green Rovers on Saturday, December 7th is on the shortlist of three divisional goals for the month.

Eisa faces competition from Leyton Orient's Jordan Maguire-Drew and Salford City's Richie Towell.

An EFL press release said: "Eisa’s balance was extraordinary as he collected the ball on the halfway line and rode two awkward challenges before lacing a searing shot across his body for an exquisite solo goal."

The winners of the Sky Bet EFL Goals of the Month are chosen by a fan poll on skysports.com.

The shortlist for the poll is decided by a judging panel following suggestions from supporters via Twitter.

The judging panel comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, Sky Bet Sponsorship Executive Matt Goodwin and EFL Senior Media Manager Rob Meaden.
