Young Iron fan Barney enjoyed a ninth birthday to remember along with his little brother, best friend and family as he was allowed behind-the-scenes access ahead of the Iron's 2-0 victory over Lincoln City.
The group were taken around the otherwise restricted areas of the Glanford Park, including the Boardroom, an Executive Box, the indoor Press Box and the Legends Lounge before continuing their tour in the stadium and downstairs.
Barney and co were allowed to sit in the home dugout, along with the Directors Box before being shown the Press Room, the match officials changing room, the boot room and the home dressing room, where they were able to meet the Iron players.
United players took time for photographs before preparing for their final pre-season encounter against Lincoln City, where the family would enjoy the encounte from the Lincs Lifts Stand.
Following the visit, mum Rebecca said: "It was amazing, you certainly went over and above! Barney will absolutely be a fan for life!"
