Local junior football side Messingham Juniors U10s were able to form a guard of honour for both the Iron and Coventry City on Saturday.
Twelve players from the side were present to enjoy the experience, which saw them allowed onto the pitch prior to kick-off for a flag bearing experience.
They welcomed both teams onto the pitch, taking advantage of group booking prices, before enjoying the encounter against the Sky Blues from the Lincolnshire Co-op Family Zone of the SPB Stand.
Prior to the game, the side took advantage of a behind-the-scenes tour opportunity, which allowed them into otherwise restricted areas of the stadium. The group were able to see the Iron's press room, before they gained access to the club's boot room.
The final stop was the home dressing room, where they were able to meet the players and get a number of selfies with their favourites before awaiting the arrival of the remaining players and the Iron's opposition from outside the player's entrance.
