The local goalkeeper, who has been on the Iron’s books since Under-12 level, has been rewarded for his hard work and development over that time, signing a three-year contact which acknowledges the remaining time on his existing scholarship.
Collins joined the club in February 2013 and spent the first part of last season on a work experience loan at Barton Town.
He will continue his development within the Academy and United’s Under-23s set-ups during the 2019-20 season.
