The Lancashire-based official will travel to Glanford Park for his 32nd game of the campaign and 13th in Sky Bet League One. The current term is Salisbury's 18th in the EFL.
His first game of the season was a League Two affair between Exeter City and Carlisle United in which the Grecians won 3-1. In that game he showed three yellow cards.
His most recent encounter came on Saturday, March 30th when he oversaw Doncaster Rovers' 3-1 home victory over Walsall. His only caution went to the Saddlers' Luke Leahy.
He's taken charge of Scunthorpe matches on no fewer than 28 previous occasions ranging from the old Division Three, through to the Championship and cup competitions. His last encounter involving United came back in December at Glanford Park. He showed four yellow cards in a 2-0 home loss to Gillingham. In total, across the 28 games involving United, he's shown 93 yellow cards and five reds.
Salisbury has taken charge of 11 Burton games over the last decade with his most recent back in October. On that day, three yellow cards were shown in the Brewers' 2-1 home defeat to Peterborough United. In total, across the eleven games, he's shown 40 yellow cards and one red.
In 2017-18, he took charge of 37 games, issuing 146 yellow cards and 13 reds. So far in this campaign, he has officiated in 31 encounters, showing 108 yellows and three red cards.
On Saturday, he will be assisted by Alan Clayton and Gary Hilton, while Joe Clark has been appointed as the fourth official.
