Scunthorpe United eSports have announced their squad ahead of the new season which starts on Monday evening.
Trials have taken place over the last couple of weeks to find a squad to represent the Iron at FIFA 19 in the Virtual Pro Gaming 11v11 league on Playstation 4. The squad has been selected and they have taken part in some pre-season friendly tournaments which have resulted in one runner-up spot and one tournament win out of the three that the team have participated in.
The Iron’s official esports team will now play their first league game on Monday evening (29th October) as they begin their first season in the VPG League 1 North. You can follow the action live against Arctic Foxes on the Scunthorpe United Esports Twitch feed here with kick off at 8.45pm.
Games will take place on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings with the Iron looking for promotion in their first season. The squad is listed below and the starting XI will be confirmed on the @SUFCeSports twitter feed ahead of the game.
