The FA have confirmed on their website that the Iron’s FA Cup second round tie at Shrewsbury Town or Salford City will be played on Sunday, December 2nd (2pm kick-off).
Salford and Shrewsbury will battle it out for the right to host United in a first round replay on Wednesday, November 21st at the Peninsula Stadium.
The second round game will be part of the BBC’s live highlights programme that afternoon along with several other fixtures.
