Scunthorpe United are pleased to release the first images of the brand new 2018-19 home kit which the supporters helped choose.
In January, the club gave fans the chance to vote for their preferred choice from four initial home kit designs for the new season. Over 35 per cent of supporters voted for option three.
Using feedback from the vote, the design underwent final adjustments, with the resulting kit revealed here ahead of the 2018-19 season.
The shirt features a two-tone claret design, with a vertical blue central block on the front and rear.
The shorts are blue with claret trim, and it will be worn with claret socks with blue detail.
Rainham Steel will have their company name displayed across the front of the home shirts for the coming season, with Vanilla Solutions branding on the rear and Pepperells Solicitors on the reverse of the shorts.
Julie Taylor, competition winner from the supporters’ kit vote, was invited to the stadium on Thursday to meet the players, watch them train and see the shirt for the first time. Julie is pictured below with Josh Morris. 
The 2018-19 home kit will be available to pre-order online and in-store from 9am on Friday 13th July, 2018.
The kits will arrive in-store and become available for supporters to wear on Wednesday, July 25th, 2018 ahead of the first home pre-season friendly against Nottingham Forest. This is also when the first team players will wear it for the first time.
The away kit was revealed on Wednesday, 11th July, 2018 and will also be available for pre-order on Friday morning before arriving in-store from Wednesday, 25th July, 2018.
A third kit will be available for the first team to wear in 2018-19 and this will be revealed ahead of the new campaign with a limited-edition replica version available later in the season.
