Iron trio Josh Morris, Funso Ojo and Murray Wallace have all got involved in Study Parks' "Supporter 2 Reporter" programme this week.
The popular programme, which sees schools come to Glanford Park and learn how to be a reporter over a series of sessions throughout ten weeks.
Currently on the programme are Alkborough Primary, Lincoln Gardens Primary, Oasis Academy Henderson Avenue and Wescliffe Primary. Week one begins with ground tours before the junior reporters create an iMovie of their experiences.
Following that, they interview with a local journalist to get tips and tricks of the trade along with an insight as to how they get where they got in their career. The next stage sees a current professional or former professional interview, which is where Morris, Ojo and Wallace came in. They spent 30 minutes of their time answering questions as the students put their new skills into practise.
The remainder of the programme sees the students prepare and watch a live game, before producing their own TV show using Study Parks' green screen facilities.
At the end of the programme, each junior reporter receives "Supporter 2 Reporter" certificates for Journalism and Production as well as a Study Parks certificate of attendance.
