The East Yorkshire-based official takes charge of both teams for the second time this season. He's taken charge of 20 league games so far this season with nine of those coming in Sky Bet League One.
His first game of the campaign was Doncaster Rovers' 3-0 victory over Wycombe Wanderers on the second weekend of the season. Meanwhile, last Saturday, he took charge of Rochdale v Plymouth Argyle at Spotland.
Boyeson last took charge of an Iron game back in August when the side lost to Fleetwood Town at Glanford Park. He's taken charge of eight United fixtures over the course of 16 years - his first back on Boxing Day in 2002. He's shown a total of 30 yellow cards and no reds in those seven games.
He's taken charge of Bradford City on 18 occasions over the last 15 years, most recently their Checkatrade Trophy defeat to Barnsley last month. In that game he showed six yellow cards and one red - the dismissal going to the Tykes.
In 2017-18, he took charge of 37 games, issuing 100 yellow cards and ten red. So far this campaign, he's shown 69 yellows and one red in 19 encounters.
On Saturday, Boyeson will be assisted by Natalie Aspinall and David Avent, while Stephen Wade has been appointed as the fourth official.
