Sky Bet League One line-up confirmed for 2017-18

30 May 2017

Blackpool defeated Exeter City 2-1 in the Sky Bet League Two play-off final on Sunday afternoon.

They secured promotion to League One as a result, and complete the line-up of teams the Iron will face in 2017-18.

Elsewhere, Millwall secured promotion to the Championship following a 1-0 victory over Bradford City in the play-off final at Wembley a week ago. It means the Bantams stay in the third tier.

Securing automatic promotion to League One are Portsmouth, Plymouth Argyle - whom the Iron will face for the first time since 2013-14, and Doncaster Rovers, who return to the league after one season away.

Entering the English Football League's third division after being relegated from the Championship are Blackburn Rovers, Wigan Athletic and Rotherham United.

The fixtures against the Rovers will be the first time the two sides have faced each other in the league since 1973, while the Iron will make their first trip to the New York Stadium when they come up against Rotherham United.
