After much anticipation and build-up, the EFL draft fixtures for 2017-18 were finally revealed at 9.00am today – and Scunthorpe United’s Sky Bet League One campaign will kick off with a home clash against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday, 5th August, 2017.
Our first away trip of the campaign comes on the following Saturday (12th August) as we square up against Rochdale at Spotland.
There is an away trip to Doncaster Rovers on Saturday, 16th September, while we host them at Glanford Park on Saturday, 6th January.
Christmas sees the Iron host Southend United on Saturday, 23rd December before a Boxing Day trip to Blackpool and then Blackburn Rovers away on Saturday, 30th December. There is then a New Year's Day home game versus Bury.
The final weekend of the season sees us host Bradford City on Saturday, 5th May, with kick-off at 5.30pm for all League One clubs that day.
