The Iron make nine changes heading into the Checkatrade Trophy second round home clash against Leicester City Under-21s.
Only Murray Wallace and Paddy Madden start from the side that played at Doncaster Rovers in the FA Cup second round on Saturday.
There is also a first team debut for second year youth trainee George Hornshaw.
