Further enhancement to Iron's ticketing operation

18 August 2017

From Saturday’s game against Oxford United onwards, we are pleased to be able to offer a further enhancement to the ticketing operation at Glanford Park.

As part of ongoing improvements to the supporter experience and following the implementation of a new ticketing system this summer, turnstile operators on the cash turnstiles will now be using tablets, which will enable them to take any category of concession type.

This means adults, seniors, students, 18-21 year olds and Under-18s can all enter through the same cash turnstile (even if they already have a match ticket – please see below). This makes it an easier and more enjoyable experience to enter the stadium together, rather than having to go through separate turnstiles which has been the case previously.

The cash turnstiles also have the ticket scanning facilities. This means that, if a season ticket holder or someone who has pre-bought their match ticket is bringing along family members or friends that are not season ticket holders, it is now possible for them all to enter the same turnstile, providing they are going through one of the cash turnstiles.

The cash turnstiles in operation for Saturday’s game against Oxford are as follows:

> Britcon Stand – Turnstiles 2A & 2B
> Clugston Stand – Turnstile 5A
> AMS Stand (Away fans) – Turnstiles 7A & 7B

Don’t forget the new pricing structure in operation this season means that prices increase on a matchday, full details of which can be found here.

As the club’s summer survey showed, there are still a percentage of supporters that prefer to pay cash on the day, which the club are happy to facilitate on this basis.

*Please note: Under-12 tickets will still need to be purchased in advance from the ticket office or online from www.sufctickets.com
