A sigh of relief

18 April 2017

Firstly may I congratulate Graham, his team and the players for reaching the play-offs this season.

Our aim at the beginning of the year was to achieve fifth or sixth place and get into the play-offs, which we have achieved with two games to go, a fantastic effort and one I am very pleased about.
We could, of course, look back and talk about what could have been or even what might be, however we are where we are and the players get a chance to finish the job and push for promotion to the Championship in the coming weeks.
The team are having to win games differently and approach each week as a different challenge, but the most important thing now is to just win games and not have to play like Brazil to do it, although it would be nice!
For all those fans who have supported us, a big well done and thank you for your continued support, it is very much appreciated.
We still have a lot of work to do, but we do it with a spring in our step and hope in our hearts. What a way to finish the season!
Up the Iron!
