Avert Fire (U.K.) Ltd will be our match sponsors for the visit of Millwall.

The local company, based on Dawes Lane, is celebrating 30 years in business this year and are planning to use the game on Saturday to celebrate with members of the Iron's Disabled Supporters Club.

We spoke to Gary Bailey of Avert Fire about his upcoming match sponsorship and the special relationship his company holds with the Disabled Supporters Club.

He said: “There is bound to be a party atmosphere as guests on Saturday include members of the Scunthorpe United Disabled Supporters Club. Avert Fire are a proud patron of the society and we have worked with the dedicated team of carers and organisers over the past 15 years. They are a truly magnificent section of support who love their club.”

The fire facilities management and contracting specialist are hoping an early Christmas present will come their way on Saturday afternoon.

“We have high expectancy for an Iron win and guests on Saturday are looking to enjoy the renowned hospitality provided by Scunthorpe United Football Club before, during and after the game," Gary added.

Gary says Avert Fire are privileged to be our match sponsors this afternoon, but we are equally as privileged to have a company dining with us who offer so much support to our Disabled Supporters Club.

Finally, Gary added: "We look forward to many more years of working together with the Scunthorpe United Disabled Supporters Club. Hopefully next year it will be in the Championship.”

We thank our match sponsors Avert Fire (U.K.) Ltd for their support of the club and hope they have a great day with us. Special thanks must also go to our matchball sponsor for the visit of Millwall, who is Rubyhall Solutions.
