Following early consultation with the Voice of the Fans group, it was agreed to issue a charter of their responsibilities to define to the wider fanbase, as follows:

- Accountability – Remaining answerable to the supporter base and maintaining high standards of integrity.
- Unity – Promoting a culture of “one team” togetherness, recognising supporters as an essential part of the club’s identity and future.
4. Objectives
The Voice of the Fans representatives are committed to:
- Establishing a consistent and accessible forum for consultation with supporters.

The representatives involved in the Voice of the Fans will also be reviewed on a regular basis within the same manner.

Scunthorpe United is proud to launch the 2026-27 Pitch Squares initiative, giving supporters, local businesses and community groups the opportunity to play their part in the renovations and maintenance of our playing surface at the Attis Arena.
The playing surface sits at the heart of everything we do. From first-team fixtures to pitch hires at the end of the season, the pitch is where memories are made and ambitions are realised. The Pitch Squares initiative offers a unique and meaningful way for supporters to directly contribute to the upkeep and improvement of our home turf for the 2026-27 campaign.
What Is the Pitch Squares initiative?
The initiative divides the Attis Arena playing surface into 156 individual “squares”, each available for sponsorship throughout the 2026-27 season. Whether you are a lifelong Iron supporter, a family honouring a loved one, or a business looking to align with the club, this package offers a personal connection to the heart of the action.
Each Pitch Square sponsor will receive:
- Recognition in each league edition of the official 2026-27 matchday programme on a dedicated page
- A digital certificate of sponsorship depicting their square
- Pitch squares listing on the club website
- Included in the club’s installed pitch squares wall to be on the exterior of the stadium, location TBC
- The opportunity to dedicate your square in your name, family name or business name
- All of the above will be launched ahead of the new season commencing
It’s a fantastic way to show your support while contributing directly to the quality and presentation of our playing surface.
Investing in Performance
Maintaining a high-quality pitch requires continuous care, specialist treatment and year-round attention. Funds raised through the Pitch Squares Initiative will go towards the club’s end-of-season renovations, which includes improved drainage and sprinkler system works, as detailed in previous press releases, as the Iron look to combat the issues the club has had over the past two seasons.
Be Part of the Foundation
By sponsoring a square, you are quite literally backing the ground our team stands on. It’s more than a package, it’s an investment in the club’s future and a visible demonstration of your commitment to the Iron. Pitch Squares are limited to just 156 individual squares and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
To secure your square for 2026-27, which costs just £100 + VAT each, contact glyn.sparks@scunthorpe-united.co.uk and define the coordinates of your preference, if you have one.
Together, let’s support our surface and build strong foundations for the season ahead.
