Scunthorpe United is delighted to announce the appointment of Lee Collinson as a Director of the club.

Lee was born in the town and is a life long fan of the club and previously served as an Associate Director between 2008 and 2013 and is a current Vice President.

Lee is shortly to retire as a Managing Director at a leading financial institution after a 38 year career.

Talking about the appointment, Michelle Harness, Chair, said: "Over the last three years Lee has already provided considerable assistance to the club and I am delighted that he has accepted our invitation to join the Board where I am sure his financial and business acumen will prove invaluable as we look to further develop the club both on and off the field."

Lee added: "Michelle and her fellow owners have done a remarkable job at ensuring we all still have a club to be proud of in the town. I am honoured to have been asked to join the Board and I look forward to using my skills to complement those of the current Director’s as we look to take the club forward."

Scunthorpe United is delighted to confirm that left-back Tyler Denton has penned a new one-year contract with the club, taking him into his fourth campaign with the Iron.

Another member of the Scunthorpe ranks that originally joined the club ahead of the 2023-24 National League North campaign, Denton has been a key figure for United in recent years and has long surpassed 100 appearances in claret and blue.

After joining United following two largely successful seasons at King's Lynn Town, Denton would have an exceptional first season in Iron colours, playing all but two games. Since then, the now 30-year-old has continued to go from strength to strength under manager Andy Butler, playing almost maximum minutes across both campaigns, as well as, consistently putting his body on the line for his teammates.

Last season, Denton would make a positive return to Enterprise National League football, notching his best return for the club with eight assists in 47 games and playing a huge role in his team's success on the pitch. Now, the former Leeds United academy graduate looks to build on this return by going one step further heading into the 2026-27 season.

Congratulations, Dents!

Following continued progress on and off the pitch, the club is calling on fans to play their part once again by securing their place at the Attis Arena and creating another season of unforgettable matchday atmospheres.

With around 2,000 season tickets already sold, it's been a massive effort during the renewal period with the majority of supporters already on board for the new campaign. Following a successful season, which saw the side just miss out through the play-offs, we have taken the decision to allow another couple of weeks for fans to attain the best price.

Over the past few seasons, we’ve worked hard to keep Season Ticket prices as accessible as possible for our supporters. However, due to increasing operational costs and our continued commitment to moving the club forward, a small adjustment will be introduced for the 2026-27 season.

We want to reassure fans that Season Tickets still represent the best value way to back the Iron throughout the campaign, and your continued support remains at the heart of everything we do.

Supporters who purchased during the Early Bird window benefitted from significant savings compared to standard pricing, rewarding loyal fans for their commitment ahead of the new season. Supporters will access the best-value access to all home league fixtures in the 2026-27 season, with priority access to cup matches and away tickets where available and accessible.

The Early Bird window closed on May 31st, with the Advance window now in operation, and will be open for a limited time only, after which prices will increase ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
