Scunthorpe United are back in action, looking to come closer to confirming a fifth spot
finish in the table, and the opportunity to host the first match of the play-offs. After a
positive home victory, building momentum, just before the play-offs would be huge for the
Iron. Next up is a fixture against mid table Wealdstone on the road.

Last time out, United won by just one goal at the Attis Arena. A Cal Roberts free kick put the
Iron into the lead in the opening fifteen minutes, and Brackley Town couldn’t respond to the
early opener.

In the reverse fixture, Scunthorpe were victorious after being awarded the win after the match
was abandoned due to a serious late injury to Wealdstone man, Daniel Nkrumah. The Iron were
2-1 up at the time the match was abandoned after fighting back from an early Stones goal in the
sixth minute, through Enzo Boldewijn. Alfie Beestin and Danny Whitehall got goals to fight back
before half time.

A dangerous player for our opponents is Micah Obiero. The Kenyan centre forward is top scorer
for his club with 18 goals in all competitions this season, (13 goals and three assists in the
league). The attacker is in his fourth season at the club and is currently putting up stronger
numbers than he ever has done this season.

As Wealdstone look to spoil Scunthorpe's form and burst their bubble of promotion excitement
in their last home game of the season, Andy Butler’s side will be looking to get confirmation of
hosting a massive play-off quarter final match.
