Scunthorpe United regrets to inform supporters of a defect on the replenished stock of home shirts, which arrived with us on Thursday afternoon.
Having consulted with Technical Kit Partner, MEYBA, the order will be collected from our store as soon as possible and replaced in mid-January.
The club shares its disappointment with supporters who will have been eagerly awaiting these home shirts for presents, something that will also impact on the club financially as a result of not being able to make these sales during the last few days prior to Christmas.
Any supporter who has purchased defective shirts can return theirs to the store for a refund should they wish. Likewise, all online orders will be held and not dispatched as a result. Any supporters who would like their online order to be cancelled and refunded can contact our club shop to arrange, otherwise they will be processed and completed once the replacement stock arrives next month.
As part of the club’s due diligence, the Board are committed to reviewing the situation moving forward.
