The Iron has been drawn at home to face Clithroe in the Fourth Round of the Isuzu FA Trophy.
The Iron's reward for beating Peterborough Sports in Round Three of the Isuzu Trophy sees the side progress to the fourth round for the first time in the club's history, with the draw taking place this evening.
United romped to a 5-0 win over the Turbines at the Attis Arena on Saturday, with the National League North side brushed away by Scunthorpe by a five-goal margin for the second time this calendar year following the league win back on Easter Monday. Goals on the day were scored by Dec Howe, Callum Roberts, Dubem Eze (two) and Max Brogan.]
Clitheroe overcame York City in the third round, beating the National League side 4-3 on penalties following a 1-1 scoreline after 90 minutes. They'd also edged our Chester 1-0 in Round Two, beating Stockton 4-2 in Round One.
The fourth round is the first open draw, meaning the Iron could have faced up against any of the other 31 remaining sides in the competition following a series of regionalised ties.
Ties will take place on Saturday, January 10th, 2026. As soon as we have further details, we will announce.
