The Iron return to the Attis Arena after conceding another late equaliser to deny United a
significant win on the road. Up against the league leaders at that time, Scunthorpe took
the lead over Forest Green Rovers just three minutes into the game as Dec Howe nodded
home from a corner. After holding on for over 90 minutes of play, deep into stoppage
time the hosts found a leveller to share the points. Now a struggling Truro City side with
just four points on the board, prepare to make the almost 8 hour trip up to Scunthorpe,
desperate for a turn in form.

The White Tigers’ form this season has left them sat in 23rd place, having drawn one, won one
and lost seven of their nine games played so far. Truro’s one league win came on the 30th
September as they defeated Boston in devastating fashion, winning 3-0. This result would’ve
been hoped to be the catalyst to kickstart some positive form, but in the last three league games
Truro have managed just one point having lost their last two, and in their most recent league
outing they were defeated just one nil at home, against an in form Rochdale who moved up to
the top of the table, however Truro would be pleased with the efforts on display against a really
strong side.

A goalscorer for Truro who has proved before he can get the ball in the back of the net on a
regular basis, is striker, and captain, Tyler Harvey. Harvey has netted just twice this season and
got a single assist, but last season the number nine had his best ever campaign as he bagged
27 goals from 45 league appearances in the White Tigers’ National League South title winning
season. The previous season before this Harvey bagged 14 goals from 33 league games,
further evidence of the striker's prolificity in front of goal that the Iron have to keep under control,
still yet to have a clean sheet this season.
