Scunthorpe United can confirm the home Enterprise National League encounter against Morecambe has been rescheduled for Tuesday, October 7th (7.45pm kick-off).
The Iron were due to host the Shrimps on Tuesday, August 19th, but their ongoing off-field issues at the time resulted in a statement released by the National League confirming their suspension from the league.
It goes without saying that everyone at Scunthorpe United is delighted that a resolution was found for Morecambe Football Club, and that they have been able to continue operating. Having been through our own issues in recent years, the situation they found themselves in resonated with our club as much as any other, and we were delighted to learn of a positive resolution.
United's home game against the Shrimps was one of three games postponed at the start of the season, with all three rearranged in accordance with the Enterprise National League.
Tickets for the match will go on sale in due course.
