So what happens on a Scunthorpe United matchday at Glanford Park?

We've got plenty going on each matchday, meaning that it's not just about the ninety minutes of high tempo, exciting football!

For a Saturday 3pm kick-off, here's what a typical matchday involves!

11.00am - Ticket Office and Club Shop opens
Want to beat the queues and buy your tickets in advance? The Iron's ticket office is open from 11.00am on a Saturday matchday, so pop up and see us or call 01724 747670. Tickets can also be bought online 24/7 from www.sufctickets.com. Buy online before 12noon and you can get a saving on your match ticket too, though this discount doesn't apply to matchday ticket office purchases.

Our club shop is also open from 11.00am, selling this season's home, away and goalkeeper replica kits, training wear and much more! Visit www.sufcshop.com to see the full range online.

11.30am – The Iron Bar opens
Enjoy a pre-match drink and watch national football build-up, and the televised lunchtime game, on the screens in the supporters bar located at the rear of the Britcon Stand.

12noon - Car park opens
Costing £5 per car. Head to www.sufctickets.com before 11.45am on matchday to pre-book and make a £1 saving.

1.30pm - Activities get underway and turnstiles open
If you want to get your first glimpse of the pitch and sit in your seat, then turnstiles open at 1.30pm. At this time, you'll be able to visit our catering kiosks (menu here) and start to soak up the matchday atmosphere inside Glanford Park. Our downloadable matchday programme and Junior Iron supplement (both available PM the day before the game) will also help keep you entertained.

2.00pm - Team announcement
The Iron's team and the oppositon starting XI for the day will be announced on our official website and all our social media channels an hour before kick-off.

2.15pm - Tweet from your seat!
We're asking fans to tweet us at @SUFCOfficial with a picture of them in their seat. We'll share and retweet what we can, and also will try and put your photos in the next downloadable matchday programme. Our mascot Scunny Bunny will also be out to see the fans in the run-up to kick-off and you can contact him on Twitter @99ScunnyBunny99.

2.20pm - Players warm-up
The players will prepare themselves for action from around 2.20pm. If you want to watch them get ready and give them a cheer, be in your seat by this time.

2.30pm - On-pitch matchday entertainment begins
Our PA announcer James Moody will emerge to talk everybody through the day's teams.

2.45pm - Teams go in
The teams will go in for their team talk at this time, so it's a great time for you to get settled into your seat. Scunny Bunny will also lead a 'Hi Ho Scun United' sing-along.

2.55pm – The teams walk-out
Shout loud and shout proud as the players emerge from the tunnel for the pre-match walk-out ahead of kick-off.

3.00pm - Kick-off!
And then the fun and games gets started! Can the Iron get the goals they need? It's time to find out!

3.45pm - Half-time
Our catering kiosks will be open, while PA announcer James Moody will run supporters through some of the half-time scores.

4.00pm - Second-half gets underway!
Get behind the Iron for another 45 minutes of football as we look to earn a valuable win!

At full-time, hospitality area bars remain open, as well as the Iron Bar for all supporters. There will be live coverage of the televised teatime game too.

The club shop and ticket office will also be open for a short period of time after the game, with Iron merchandise and match tickets for upcoming fixtures on sale.

We hope you have a brilliant time at Scunthorpe United!
