Midfielder George Hornshaw became a professional with United in 2018, graduating from the club;s academy.
Hornshaw made his professional debut for the Iron in the 2017-18 campaign, starting in the Checkatrade Trophy defeat to Leicester City U21s which included a wealth of Premier League experience. He also won the man of the match award.
2018-19 saw a further Checkatrade Trophy appearance against Wolves U21s, and loan moves to Farsley Celtic and Gainsborough Trinity.
He then made a further appearance in the same competition against Grimsby Town during 2019-20.
