Scunthorpe United completed the signing of German forward Kenan Dünnwald-Turan on a two-year deal in September 2020.
Dünnwald-Turan signed following a successful trial period with the Iron, and originally progressed through the youth ranks of Fortuna Düsseldorf, SG Unterrath and Rot-Weiß Oberhausen in his homeland
He played for both MSV Duisburg II and TSG Sprockhövel before a move to England. In August 2017, he joined Bristol Rovers’ development squad and while there had a loan spell at Weston-Super-Mare.
Since then, spells followed at FC Kaan-Marienborn, Wuppertaler SV, SC Fortuna Koln and Bonner SC.
The 2020-21 campaign saw him make six appearances in all competitions for the Iron first team.
