Scunthorpe United announced the signing of Abo Eisa for an undisclosed fee from Shrewsbury Town in August 2019, penning a two-year contract.
The attacker signed for the Shrews and turned professional while ex-Iron boss Paul Hurst was manager there, after impressing during non-league stints at Uxbridge and Wealdstone. He originally played youth football for the Pro Touch Soccer Academy.
During the second half of last season, the Sudanese player enjoyed a loan stay at Colchester United in League Two, scoring twice in 14 appearances.
He enjoyed a successful first campaign with United, scoring nine goals in 36 appearances and winning the 12th Man player of the season honour.
