Jai Rowe joined the Iron in April 2019, signing for the Under-23s squad initially.
The player, who had been on non-contract terms at non-league side Barwell, penned a two-year deal with the Iron.
The Nuneaton-based right-back, who can also play in midfield, made his senior debut away at Swindon in March 2020 after a successful campaign for the Under-23s.
The 2020-21 season saw him make 27 appearances, scoring his first senior career goal away at Exeter City.
