The Iron signed highly-rated Hendon central defender Charlie Goode in June 2015.
An England C international, he joined on a free transfer from the Ryman League Premier Division club.
Goode was part of the Fulham youth set-up before making the move into non-league, working with his dad in the family business while playing for AFC Hayes.
He joined Hendon, and played a key part in their push for the play-offs, where he faced Margate in the final.
In May 2015, Goode was called into the England C squad, and played against the Republic of Ireland.
During his first season with Scunthorpe, he scored two goals in 14 appearances while he tallied a total of 27 appearances in all competitions in 2016/17 with his campaign coming to a premature end following an injury at home to Bradford City in March.
2017/18 saw a further 19 appearances, scoring the decisive goal in a 1-0 home win over Bury.
