Defender Will Evans is auctioning his personal match-worn away shirt from the 2024-25 season, with proceeds going towards the fundraising campaign for Motor Neurone Disease patient Seckin McGuirk, as she hopes to undertake treatment for her rare type of MND called SOD1.
Seckin has an MND diagnosis for which there has been no previous cure. However, with hopes of undergoing vital treatment, she is campaigning for all who have received the diagnosis to receive a groundbreaking new treatment, tofersen, which has been developed to treat this type of MND. It can significantly slow down the progression of MND and, in some cases, stop it altogether
The shirt, worn by Evans during our 125th anniversary promotion-winning season, is now on a live auction on our shop website, with full proceeds going to the Pescribe Life campaign.
The shirt will be signed by the player should winning bidder want the product signed.
