Scunthorpe United delighted to announce, in partnership with Nor Lait Promotions, we will welcome Gary McAllister to the Attis Arena on Friday, August 8th, 2025.

McAllister is a former Scottish professional footballer and coach, widely respected for his skill, leadership, and longevity in the game.
Born on December 25, 1964, he enjoyed a successful playing career as a midfielder with clubs including Leicester City, Leeds United, Coventry City, and Liverpool. Known for his vision, passing, and composure, McAllister was instrumental in Leeds United's 1991–92 First Division title win and later helped Liverpool secure a treble of cup victories in 2000–01.
He also earned over 50 caps for Scotland. After retiring, he moved into coaching and management, bringing his deep understanding of the game to various roles.
