Ross Barrows joins King's Lynn Town on loan

Iron defender Ross Barrows has joined fellow Vanarama National League North side King's Lynn Town on an initial month loan.

The 25-year-old was one of the Iron's summer signings last summer, and he's made a total of 11 appearances for the club, five of which starts.

Born in Sheffield, Barrows was on the Iron’s books previously, spending six years in the academy between the ages of nine and 15. During his time away from the club, one of his clubs was the Linnets, where he joined towards the end of the 2018-19 season. He would become part of the team that would be promoted to the Vanarama National League North.

Playing for the side in the following season, he would make 58 appearances, scoring four goals, eventually moving on to Altrincham for the 2022-23 season.
