75-year-old Mick Roden continues his bike riding fundraising efforts, as he's aiming to generate £1,000 a year for the club with his latest exploits.

A keen cyclist, who completed Football to Amsterdam on behalf of Scunthorpe United a couple of times, Mick is hoping to cycle 100 Tour De France iconic mountain climbs over the next five years, completing 20 climbs a year.

The total altitude gain for this mission will be over 77,000 metres, which is the equivalent of cycling up and down Mount Everest over nine times, representing a monumental challenge.

Mick has been coached by Steve Clarke from Offthatcouchfitness, and is hoping to raise the club over £1,000 each year for the Iron.
