Scunthorpe United will travel to face Gainsborough Trinity in pre-season on Tuesday, July 16th (7.30pm kick-off).
The encounter against former player and manager Russ Wilcox's side will form part of new first team manager Andy Butler's preparations for the new campaign.
United faced the side at the KAL Group Stadium twice last season, first running out 6-0 victors in pre-season following goals from Jason Law, Michael Kelly, Cameron Wilson (two), Danny Elliott (penalty) and Danny Whitehall before advancing to the semi-final of the Lincolnshire Senior Cup following a 7-2 win in December. Goals on the night came from Elliott (four), Butler, Wilson (penalty) and Poulter against the Northern Premier League Premier Division side.
