Former Iron midfield favourite Grant McCann will be the special guest taking part in a Question-and-Answer session in the restaurant ahead of the match.

The 42-year-old was with us between 2008 and 2010, scoring 20 goals in 113 appearances.

A number of them were spectacular strikes, including the goal against Luton Town at Wembley in the 2009 Johnstone's Paint Trophy final.

IRON TEAM NEWS

Scunthorpe United were delighted to welcome forward Richie Bennett on loan from Barrow until the end of the season on Thursday, joining as the Iron’s eleventh recruit following the club’s change of ownership.

Marcus Carver (groin) misses out but has continued to make progress in his road to recovery.

THE OPPOSITION

The Spitfires have their stride in the previous ten games, sitting third in the form table behind title chasers Wrexham and Notts County.

The side from Hampshire currently sit in sixth position, on 54 points, after registering 16 wins and six draws from 34 games so far this season.

Eastleigh edged out struggling York City at home on Tuesday evening, making February an unbeaten month in the league, when left back Michael Kelly netted the eventual 51st minute winner.

Lee Bradbury’s side were however dumped out of the Isuzu FA Trophy in the fifth round during their unbeaten February run in the league when Maidstone United put four past the Spitfires to claim their spot in the quarter final stage.
