Garry Thompson scored twice as Scunthorpe went five points clear of the drop zone by beating Peterborough in March 2010.
Paul Hayes fired in from a tight angle for the opener, and the striker turned provider 10 minutes later when he picked out Thompson for the second.
Sam Togwell slotted home before the break, before Hayes played in Thompson for a fourth after the restart.
