Scunthorpe United is delighted to announce a unique and exciting opportunity to be on the Board of Directors moving forward.
Owner David Hilton intends, as he always has, to bring the club back to the community, and would like to focus more of his time and effort on the club’s infrastructure going forward, allowing the Board of Directors to control all of the day-to-day operations of the football club.
The installation of a new Board of Directors will bring diversity and a balanced approach to the club, with decisions made by a group of individuals with the Iron at heart.
To become a Board Member, the prospective individual must be able to evidence a clear benefit to the clubs competitive and sustainable model. They must be able to complete and pass an Owners and Directors Test and must meet certain criteria as set out by the football club and the governing bodies.
Board Members will have the following privileges:
-> The authority to make decisions relating to the football club via Board level discussions, meetings and votes.
-> The ability to have your say on all things relating to Scunthorpe United
-> The opportunity to use club facilities.
-> The ability to be at the club, assisting with club staff, where necessary
-> A seat in the Directors Box for every home game to include a pre-match meal in our Boardroom
-> Plus much more to be discussed as the Board of Directors is formed
