IRON TEAM NEWS
Finley Shrimpton is ruled out following a damaged ankle ligament sustained in the first half against Woking last Saturday, and faces six weeks out of action.
Marcus Carver (groin) is set for a lengthy spell on the side lines following three injections, all of which were executed a week apart from each other.
Liam Feeney (hamstring) continues to miss out but did receive permission to come back into training full-time with the expectation to have him available for selection soon.
THE OPPOSITION
The Moors were defeated 2-1 away from home against Aldershot Town on Tuesday, making it just one win in ten in the league for Neal Ardley’s men.
The West Midlands-based side currently sit in 13th position, with Ardley’s side registering nine wins from 25 games so far this season.
In 2019, The Moors finished second to champions Leyton Orient in the National League, registering 25 wins from 46 matches. Promotion didn’t follow for Solihull when AFC Fylde pipped the semi-final play-off affair with a second-minute goal, which eventually knocked the hosts out.
Solihull were edged out in their closest chance for promotion to the English Football League last season too, where a 111th minute goal in extra time of the play-off final scuppered their chances after initially taking the lead.
