The Iron drew 1-1 at Huddersfield in the final game of Brian Laws' second reign as club manager On This Day in 2006.
Laws was set for a move to Sheffield Wednesday, and United took the lead when Matt Sparrow turned in from close range after 55 minutes.
Sparrow had earlier missed an easy chance after Billy Sharp's shot had rebounded off the bar.
But Huddersfield snatched a draw when Gary Taylor-Fletcher set up Andy Booth.
