Steve MacLean ended a spell of three months without a goal with a brace as Scunthorpe powered past Yeovil in 2004.
MacLean scored his first with a right-foot volley following good work by Paul Groves.
Yeovil's Simon Weatherstone struck a shot wide before Scunthorpe added their second when Darren Holloway headed home off the underside of the bar.
MacLean added a third on the hour, when he needed two attempts to finish off a cross from Cleveland Taylor.
